OregonLive.COM has two great videos that document the move in 2008, plus the links to the 2007 time-lapse video that was such a big YouTube hit.

PreservationDirectory.COM has its own take on the move and their own video.

Story of the Move to Temporary Storage, June 16, 2007

The move went smoothly (Click here for a few recent photos, including on Move Day) on Saturday, June 16, but much more slowly than originally planned, largely due to extensive work required of the arborists to trim the trees in the path. As of 10:30pm on the night of the 16th the Carriage House had moved to the parking lot which will be its home for 18 months, but had not fully been moved into position.  The crews, exhausted by a day that had continued non-stop since 5am, tied up for the night and prepared to resume their work at 8:00 am on Sunday, June 17.

The final few feet of the journey was accomplished by pulling the Carriage House by a cable attached to a winch on Clay Street.  The cable was be threaded past a house on Clay and attached to the under-structure on which the Carriage House moved up Columbia.
